Lettuce Benefits For Our Health



Lettuce (lactuca sativa) is a plant commonly grown in colder regions or tropical. Leaf lettuce has fresh green leaves, but there are also red. Leaves are jagged or wavy edges. Its leaves are delicious eaten raw.

There are three types of lettuce plants, namely: metnega lettuce, lettuce lid, and cut lettuce.

Lettuce contained in the fiber, provitamin A (carotenoids), potassium, and calcium. Based on research, the ingredients contained by lettuce has benefits to repair organs, preventing heartburn, launched the metabolism, help maintain healthy hair, preventing dry skin, and treat insomnia (difficulty sleeping).
